About Us

Our practice was started in 1973 by Dale I. Webb, M. D.
Dr. Webb came to Anchorage to provide medical services that were previously unavailable in Alaska.  As the community changed and grew, so did Dr. Webb’s practice.  With a loyal support staff, some of whom are still working with the practice, Dr. Webb was joined by Dennis D. Beckworth, M. D.  The name Katmai Oncology Group was adopted in 1996.  In 2001, Jeanne E. Anderson, M. D. joined Katmai.  Some of Katmai’s experienced nurses have been with the practice many years. 

Katmai Oncology Group is comprised of our physicians, nurse practitioners, RN’s, medical assistants, receptionists, coding and insurance personnel, medical records secretaries, laboratory technician, bookkeeper, and other medical and business support personnel.  Please let us know if you have questions about any aspect of your care—we have trained, experienced personnel who are here to help you.  Whether it’s nausea or insurance payments—we can get the answers for you.
